To further strengthen industrial collaboration between Shiyan City and the Greater Bay Area, a delegation of 15 entrepreneurs from the Shenzhen Shiyan Chamber of Commerce, led by He Dehua, Honorary President of the Chamber and former Party Secretary of China Bao’an Group, conducted a three-day inspection tour in Shiyan from April 25 to 27. The delegation included prominent entrepreneurs such as Wang Liping, President of the Shenzhen Shiyan Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Shenzhen Lilai Technology Co., Ltd.; Zheng Jianchang, Executive Vice President of the Chamber and Chairman of Shenzhen Tuli Engineering Group Co., Ltd.; and Cheng Hongzhi, Supervisor of the Chamber and Chairman of Shenzhen Wanquan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. The delegation visited Maojian District, Zhangwan District, and the Wudangshan Tourism Economic Zone, aiming to foster regional exchanges, advance industrial partnerships, and support Shiyan’s vision of becoming a "Shenzhen within the mountains" while driving high-quality economic development.

Cultural Tourism Inspection: Exploring Wudangshan’s Unique Industries

On April 26, the delegation visited the Wudangshan Tourism Economic Zone. In the morning, the entrepreneurs toured the Wudang Mountain Ancient Building Complex, immersing themselves in the profound cultural heritage of Taoist architecture. At the Yuxu Palace Digital Exhibition Hall, augmented reality (AR) technology vividly reconstructed the historical scene of Emperor Yongle’s dual projects—"constructing the Forbidden City in the north and renovating Wudang in the south"—allowing the delegation to visualize the grandeur of the ancient complex, renowned for its "five-mile temples and ten-mile palaces adorned with crimson walls and emerald tiles."

In the afternoon, the delegation inspected the “Wudang Yimeng” Immersive Cultural Performance Theme Park, a cutting-edge project blending modern technology with traditional culture to create a compelling cultural tourism IP. Entrepreneurs expressed strong approval for Shiyan’s innovative approach to cultural tourism, with several companies indicating immediate collaboration intentions. They proposed integrating the Greater Bay Area’s advanced tourism management expertise to jointly develop unique cultural and tourism projects.

Industrial Research: Focus on Automotive Manufacturing and New Energy

On the morning of April 27, the delegation visited Chitian Automobile Co., Ltd. in Maojian District, a leading domestic manufacturer of specialized vehicles. The company’s intelligent production lines and capabilities in new energy vehicle R&D left a deep impression on the entrepreneurs.

Subsequently, the delegation toured the Vision Power (Shiyan) Battery Production Base in Zhangwan District. As a global leader in power batteries, Vision Power’s Shiyan facility focuses on R&D and production of energy storage and new energy vehicle batteries. The entrepreneurs observed its smart production lines and exchanged views with company executives on topics such as new energy industry chain collaboration and technology sharing. Leaders of Zhangwan District expressed hopes for deeper cooperation with Greater Bay Area enterprises in the green energy sector to jointly promote sustainable industrial growth.

Government-Enterprise Forum: Charting a Collaborative Future

On the afternoon of April 27, the delegation attended a symposium hosted by the Shiyan Municipal Government. Luo Yaohua, representing the municipal government, extended a warm welcome to the entrepreneurs and acknowledged their contributions to Shiyan’s high-quality development. He highlighted Shiyan’s three iconic titles: "Sacred Mountain, Pristine Waters, and the Auto City", emphasizing the city’s shared industrial and cultural ties with Shenzhen. Both cities, he noted, are hubs of migration, industry, and openness.

Luo stressed Shiyan’s commitment to building a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, pledging full support for Shenzhen enterprises to innovate and expand in Shiyan. He called for deepened collaboration in upgrading Shiyan’s "One Core, Four Strengths, Multiple Supports" modern industrial system.

He Dehua, Honorary President of the Shenzhen Shiyan Chamber of Commerce, affirmed Shiyan’s robust industrial foundation and favorable business climate. He expressed the Greater Bay Area’s willingness to explore partnerships in automotive manufacturing, new energy, and cultural tourism.

Looking Ahead: Strengthening Collaboration

The inspection tour established a robust platform for dialogue between enterprises from both regions. Multiple Greater Bay Area companies announced plans to expedite concrete collaborative projects. Wang Liping, President of the Shenzhen Shiyan Chamber of Commerce, pledged the Chamber’s ongoing role as a bridge to attract more Greater Bay Area investment into Shiyan, fostering mutual economic growth.

This visit marks a significant step in aligning Shiyan’s industrial strengths with the Greater Bay Area’s innovation resources, paving the way for cross-regional synergy and shared prosperity.
