Recently, multiple Wanlitong pure electric refuse compactors were officially delivered and registered in Zhoukou, marking the city’s entry into a green era of integrated urban-rural waste management! This batch delivery is a significant move in response to Zhoukou’s initiative to "fully upgrade to new energy sanitation vehicles," injecting fresh green momentum into rural revitalization.

As a key area for urban-rural environmental governance in Henan Province, Zhoukou has consistently explored a balanced path between ecological preservation and development. The newly delivered Wanlitong pure electric compactors not only advance the "dual carbon" goals but also demonstrate the city’s commitment to empowering environmental governance through technological innovation.

The Yutong 12-ton pure electric compactors delivered this time integrate zero emissions, low noise, long range, and cost-effectiveness. A single vehicle is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 120 metric tons annually, equivalent to planting 15 mu (about 2.47 acres) of trees. Collectively, the 32 vehicles will slash annual carbon emissions by 3,840 metric tons, elevating Zhoukou’s Blue Sky Protection Campaign and green city development.

Following delivery, these vehicles will be deployed across Zhoukou’s integrated waste management system, covering centralized compaction, transportation, and eco-friendly disposal of rural and township waste. This initiative optimizes sanitation workflows while leveraging new energy technology to improve living environments, creating cleaner, greener communities and fostering the integration of rural revitalization with ecological civilization.
