At the event, Weichai unveiled its second-generation mining power series, featuring a comprehensive range of engines tailored for mining excavators, rigid dump trucks, and wide-body vehicles. The release delivered a technological feast for industry professionals.

M Series: Large-Bore Mining Engines
The M Series includes three platforms—M25, M33, and M55—spanning 10 variants with displacements of 19.6L–87.5L and power outputs of 566kW–2,800kW. These engines are compatible with 55–400-ton rigid dump trucks, 90–400-ton mining excavators, and 600–1,000 HP mining bulldozers. Key advantages include:

The H/T Series debuts three star products—WP14T, WP15H, and WP17T—designed for 95–160-ton wide-body dump trucks and 60–100-ton excavators. Equipped with cutting-edge technologies such as high-efficiency combustion, turbocharging optimization, and friction reduction, these engines achieve over 10% lower fuel consumption than rivals. Enhanced durability features include:

Hybrid and Alternative-Fuel Innovations
Weichai also introduced hybrid-dedicated engines like the WP17T methanol, WP16NG (natural gas), and WP14T range-extender models. These solutions integrate advanced diesel engine technology with efficient electric drive systems, optimizing core components for higher efficiency and lower emissions. Their fuel flexibility and cost-effectiveness support the green transformation of mining operations.
