Binlorry driver Billy is facing a busy day at Wanlitong. He rises in the early morningand primes his truck to go. As well as settingmealtimes for her dog, Billy has a morning routine in which he goes through the local neighborhood, gathering up trash from people's homes and businesses. So we find out what it'slike to be a bin lorry driver like Billy as he gets ready to start his shift in Whitby.
First up each day for Billy’s day is a short walkaround inspection of his bin lorry. He checks that the car is in good conditions beforetaking itfor adrive. Billy makes the rounds of the streets, visiting every house to collect their waste. He has a mechanical arm to lift and tip the bins which goes into the rear of his lorry.
