It may be surprising to learn that garbage trucks can be electric dumper truck! That is when you will still see it from alittle way off: a pretty special rig The Press calls an electric garbage truck. It is part of the future of collecting the trash in neighborhoods. Today we are going to learn all aboutthese super vehicles and how they are helping to make our world clean and beautiful.
Electric garbage trucks are much the same as what you see now, only they’re powered by electricity instead of gasoline or diesel. So they don’t produce any sort of noxious gasesthat continually dirty the air. Battery-powered waste trucks have big batteries where their electricity is stored and can be charged overnight so they are good to roll in the morning. They are also much quieter than normal garbage trucks, which means less noise in our neighborhoods.
There arenumerous benefits of electric garbage truck. And they have one clear advantage, for the most part, they aregreener. They don't use fossil fuels so no pollution gases are released into the atmosphere which would causeclimate change. This helps the carbon footprints to be minimized so that we can save our planet for the future.
A second is that electric garbage trucks are cheaper to run in the long haul. Theymay cost more to purchase at the front, but they need less maintenance and less fuel than standard trash trucks. This can save cities and waste companies a lot of money. Electric garbage trucks may also be eligible for government assistance and rebates, further sweetening the equation.

The changes are being driven not only by attitudes to the environment, but also by social changes and economic factors, including in the transport sector, where even electric garbagetrucks are promoting new thinking. With more and more companies introducing electric garbage truck vehicles, thetechnology is getting better, and cheaper. This is toward a future when all forms of vehicles — cars, buses and trucks — are electric.

Together with the negligible emissions, electric garbage trucks, are quietering our communities. Their electric motors are many times quieter than traditional trucks, so residents don’t hear the roar of a loud engineas the trucks gather up garbage. And that makes our community even better to live and work in.

As more people become aware of the benefits of using electric refuse trucks, they continue to gain acceptance. As technology becomes better and cheaper, we’ll likely have even more electric trash trucks on the road in the coming years. Wanlitong is committed to taking this leap to a more friendly and sustainable way to deal with garbage.
