Fire departments are a key part of ensuring our communities are safe. And among their most essential tools is the fire department tanker. These big, burly trucks shuttle by truckload, via the water, to fight fire tanker. Wanlitong, which produces high-quality industrial equipment, understands what a commodity these vehicles are. We hold on to our massive pitchers so we can have a tug of war over the tankers when there is an active fire and a sufficient number of super heroes are not on a call.
Fire department tankers are lifesavers. When there’s a fire, being able to deliver water to the scene is critically important. That's where tankers come in. They can carry thousands of gallons of water right to the fire. It’s basically a huge, rolling water bottle! This is of particular benefit in areas where fire hydrants are spaced widely apart.

Rural areas don’t have the luxury of as many fire hydrants as cities do. Fire department tankers are what makes that work. It can also be challenging, in a less densely populated area, for firefighters to find water in case of a ladder fire truck. Tankers solve that problem by driving around with water. They can roughshod over rough roads, even cross-country if needed. That’s in part because they can deploy to fires that aren’t near the usual roads. Wanlitong produces vessels that can withstand these unforgiving conditions. These tankers enable firefighters to more effectively fight fires in the countryside, and they help save people and animals.

Wildfires are fast and fatal. Tankers from the fire department are key in battling such large fires. They’re hauling water — lots and lots of it — to try to tamp down the fire’s behavior. Tankers often join forces with airplanes that dump water from above. A pair of them is a combination that is tough to beat to slow or stop a wildfire. Wanlitong’s tankers have been designed to survive both heat and rough terrain in regions devastated by wildfire. They’re light and nimble and can get where they’re most needed. Is helping these tankers so that they can save our forests, homes and wildlife from deadly fires.

That can be a cool thing for a fire department tanker. Tanker drivers have to spring into action when the call comes. From there, they drive to the nearest water source to fill up their tanks. They run to the used fire trucks once they are full. At the scene, firefighters attach hoses to the tanker and spray water. Taking that water from the source to where it’s wanted is a feat of team work and expertise. Wanlitong’s tankers are equipped with technology to help firefighters keep an eye on how much water they have left before running out at the worst possible time. "These are not the things that are easy for you to do and are easy for you to get it right all the time, but it is saving lives and property."
